A Day Completely Gone to the Dogs – Strut Your Mutt DC

Several months ago, a friend and fellow photographer referred me for a job. One that is right up my alley – photographing dogs and their people – and at an event that benefits local rescue groups. Read more about that here – http://www.strutyourmutt.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=cms.page&id=1323.

Strut Your Mutt was held on a beautiful September morning. I arrived at Black Hill Regional Park, not knowing what to expect of the park or the event. The rambling wooded drive into the park was the first delightful surprise. It’s as gorgeous as a park can be – acres of wooded beauty and water as well.

I arrived to find my tent, and home for the next five hours, already setup and ready to go, My job – photographing event attendees and their dogs. It was a blast, I loved every minute of it and I’d happily do it again and again, if asked.

I hope you enjoy the photos – http://annapoliscreative.smugmug.com/Strut-Your-Mutt-DC-2014-/

They’re not available for sale or download. Best Friends will be emailing, all of those who registered for the event, a link to these photos and many more.

If you have an event coming up, talk to me about photography coverage. I’d be happy to help.
